About Us

Dr. Lora (Bulmahn) Bennett attended undergraduate school at Valparaiso University in Indiana from 1984-1988. She then completed her medical school training at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD and graduated in 1993. Dr Bennett completed a 3-year residency in Family Medicine at Eglin Air Force Base Regional Hospital in Ft. Walton Beach, FL in 1996.
She was an Active Duty Air Force Flight surgeon for elite Air Force fighter, bomber and helicopter pilots and their families from 1996-2003, helping to keep them healthy despite challenging deployment locations and environments. Her passion for promoting wellness and an interest in holistic medicine led her to separate from the Air Force and pursue a 2 yr fellowship in Integrative Medicine with Dr Andrew Weil at the University of Arizona. She completed this fellowship in December of 2005 and decided to open her own practice in Louisville, CO early in 2007. In June of 2013, tired of the “rat-race” of the traditional primary care environment, Dr Bennett chose to move to a Membership Based Practice; this change has afforded her and her patients more time together in a relaxed environment that focuses on individualized, integrative health and wellness and the detection and treatment of early diseases.
